This job description outlines the major responsibilities for this role and is a guide to the employees and their managers as to their overall responsibilities.  The employee recognizes that they may be required to undertake work that is outside of the specifics of this job description from time to time, as required and requested to do so for the good operations of IG Asia Vietnam, and they agree to undertake all reasonable and lawful instructions provided to them.

MISSIONS

The Development Manager will report to the Business Manager and will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Source and evaluate potential MEP contractors and suppliers
  • Prepare RFQ (Request for quotation) packages for bidding purposes (MEP contractors and suppliers for main equipment)
  • Responsible for quantity take-off from tender drawings and cross-check the tenderer’s quantity
  • Responsible for compliances of all sub-contractors, supplier’s offers
  • Analyze, evaluate, and negotiate the best offer with sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Prepare the tender reports for approval
  • Prepare the contracts for approval
  • Create and maintain good relationships with sub-contractor/suppliers
  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
  • Work with team members and line manager to complete duties as needed.
  • Work in coordination with QS, Preconstruction and Construction teams as needed.
  • Manage commercial management tools, reports, processes, and procedures are used in accordance with IDEC Group standards
